Some random bursts of color
My photography teacher said yesterday that in his opinion photographs should be in color when color is the subject, and in black and white otherwise. He allowed that it was a huge generalization and that tastes differ, but noted that he often found color to be a distraction.
I love black and white, and I love color too. I think my style leans more toward color than my teacher’s does. Anyway, I’ve noticed that in some photos color itself, rather than the object shown, seems to steal the show and become the subject. In these photos, I like that.
