White House, (barely) green fountain
I went to the White House on St. Patrick’s Day to photograph the green-dyed fountain, but unfortunately the color seemed faded and this was as much of the green as I could capture in a photo. Even in a close-cropped version, you can barely see the tinge of green.
Supposedly you can learn more from the photos that didn’t work than the ones that did. I’m still not sure what to learn from this (that sometimes you really had to be there? That the White House staff should use a little more dye?) I had a little better luck with shamrocks.
